Lombard Street, San Francisco

The long exposure created by a slow shutter speed creates lines of light from nighttime traffic on San Francisco’s Lombard Street, often cited as the world’s crookedest public thoroughfare. In this one-block section, there are eight hairpin turns. The speed limit is five miles an hour.

    That is really cool. I read that the road is like that because it would be too steep if it just went straight down.
